Emmy leftovers, anyone? I know this is getting up about a day too late, but I think doing this week’s segment a day earlier than our usually scheduled Tuesday slot on RNN kind of threw everyone for a loop.
Anyway, here’s our recap of which Lower Hudson Valley celebs won and lost on Emmy night, which originally aired Monday night.
This week’s quiz:
Chappaqua’s Vanessa Williams may have gone home empty handed last night, but her second season of “Ugly Betty” is looking to be even more buzzed about than the first, thanks in part to some very interesting guest stars. Which of these stars WILL NOT be on the show.
A. Victoria Beckham
B. Rick Fox (Williams’ ex-husband)
C. Al Gore
D. Betty White
The answer is after the break.
On tap this week: Robert Z talks about Rosie O’s forthcoming memoir, “Celebrity Detox”; Vanessa Williams’ missing Yorkie; and former Sneden’s Landing resident Angelina Jolie.
The answer to this week’s trivia question, about which local star has a new TV show debuting this summer, is after the break.
Yesterday on RNN, Suburbarazzi’s Chris Serico talked about Rosie O’Donnell’s “Nuclear Wednesday” and the fallout from her feud with Elisabeth Hasselbeck, as well as John Schneider’s quest to sell the General Lee and Jimmy Fink’s 1980 firing from WPLJ.

Our Journal News colleagues’ suggestions on what to do this weekend. Among the highlights in this week’s RNN segment: A preview of “Pirates of the Caribbean,” more shamless plugging on Peter Kelly and “Iron Chef,” and Mary Lee’s Corvette show.
One final suggestion: Watch “Bury My Heart at Wounded Knee,” starring Sneden’s Landing’s Aiden Quinn, on HBO. I know, I know, if you’re like me, you’re probably a little pissed that both “The Sopranos” and “Entourage” are being preempted for the movie. But remember, it is Memorial Day weekend, a fine time to commemorate the slaughter of Native Americans. Besides, after the bomb that was “The Book of Daniel,” it may be your last chance to see Quinn on TV in a long time.
At last, we finally have the ability to show you our weekly Tuesday segment on RNN’s Hudson Valley Newscenter Now. Among the topics discussed in this week’s segment: Michael Moore’s legal troubles, whether the Donald Trump bubble has finally burst, and Matt Dillon’s bid to become an eco-friendly celeb. The answer to this week’s trivia question — Which star from the new “Grey’s Anatomy” spinoff, “Private Practice,” hails from the Lower Hudson Valley? — is available after the jump.
