Akon appears in Fishkill town court

Our friends at the Poughkeepsie Journal said the singer Akon made an appearance in Fishkill town court today, relating to an incident last year where he allegedly threw a fan off a concert stage. 
A judge has set a trial for Akon on Dec. 1. I managed to dig up a photo of the original incident. Priceless.
Poor kid, I wonder if he’ll get a sweet settlement. Hmm, I should try getting thrown off a stage at the next show I go to. Paula Cole is coming to the Emelin Theatre near my apartment, maybe she’ll at least throw a guitar at me.
