All you die-hard Mets fans out there, if you’re still wondering how exactly the Willie Randolph firing went down, or if you just want to publicly apologize to the former manager on behalf of the Mets organization, now’s your chance. We hear it on good authority that Randolph will be at One restaurant in Irvington tonight.
While our colleagues in the sports department have already gotten word that he won’t, under any circumstances, talk about baseball-related things, our source says, “he would talk to you about how much he LOVES the restaurant.”

That “top” is clearly a desperate attempt by the restaurant to get publicity. “He would talk to you about how much he LOVES the restaurant.†So pathetic. The poor man can’t even dine in peace. I’ll never go there again.
