Bedford resident Paul Shaffer and White Plains High School alumnus Matisyahu have agreed to perform in a New York City concert marking the 60th anniversary of Israel’s inception.
The leader of the CBS Orchestra for the late-night talk show hosted by North Salem resident David Letterman will join the hassidic reggae star (“King Without A Crown”) and recent hitmaker Yael Naim (“New Soul,” featured in that MacBook Air commercial with the manila envelope) for a May 7 show at Radio City Music Hall.
Also on the bill are Israeli musicians Rami Kleinstein, David Broza and Idan Raichel.
