Even though your list accounts for only about half the films to win best picture since 1990, the point I was trying to make was that box office blockbusters don't always translate into critical and Academy success. In addition, I'm guessing the vast majority of Best Picture NOMINEES, which we were discussing in the segment, make even less money on average than, say, your typical summer movie season.
