Yeah--this is the source of male derision. Its been like watching National Geographic instead of American Idol--you know, throw the young male out of the herd.
It ain't gonna happen guys so you might as well shut up and get used to our Sanjaya fixation.
If he looks like this at 17, can you imagine the hunk he'll be at 25???

Wow! Yet another grown man who feels sufficiently threatened by this sweet, sensitive kid to feel compelled to throw snide remarks.

I'd have thought we were moving past the point where gay was a charge you needed to defend yourself against. That whole idea is now ridiculous.

But my gay friends don't want to be thought of as straight anymore than my straight friends want to be misidentified as gay. So correcting a misconception is an intelligent thing to do and confronting the issue head on rather than being defensive or hiding just once again shows this young man's astounding courage and good sense.

Personally I think it's great that Sanjaya is saying one can be soft, sweet and sensitive to women and still be a straight man.

Just think he may be paving the way for straight men who are not crude, obnoxious and insensitive at heart to come out of their own closets--thus freeing them to be charming, attractive and beloved by hordes of women!
