What’s next for Rosie O’Donnell? Les Miz, perhaps?

The exiting View host may be eyeing another Broadway role. O’Donnell has previously starred in “Fiddler on the Roof, “Grease and “Seussical (and produced “Taboo, but I’ll do her a favor and forget about that). After yesterday’s show, according to The New York Times, the South Nyack funny woman told the studio audience that she would be interested in joining the cast of “Les Miserables, which was revived last fall on Broadway, in the role of Madame Thenardier, the bawdy, over-the-top inn keeper’s wife.

The paper reports that producers of the show have approached O’Donnell about the role, but nothing has been finalized.

“We think she would make a terrific Madame Thenardier and would love to have her join the show at some point in the future, said Marc Thibodeau, a spokesman for the production.
