Where in the world is DMX?

It’s been almost two weeks since DMX failed to show up for court dates in both White Plains AND Yonkers, the judge issued arrest warrants, and the Mount Kisco rapper officially became a fugitive from justice (again). Somehow, the artist also known as Earl Simmons still hasn’t been found. Unbelievable!

What on earth is the holdup? Everybody knows where the guy lives in Mt. Kisco, and I’m pretty sure his residence in Arizona isn’t a big secret there either. What’s more, he’s apparently got a new album, “The Definition of X: The Pick Of The Litter,” coming out June 26. Has anyone thought to call Island Def Jam?

Or is this all part of the record company’s master plan—stall until mid-June, then turn DMX into the authorities and get some added press right when the album drops. If so—well, all I can say is: brilliant.
