How low can the Trump-Rosie feud go? This low, apparently

Why would Donald Trump let his feud with Rosie O’Donnell go now? It’s been a whole week since he’s been written about. So here goes. Brace yourselves.
Trump sent Barbara Walters a present recentlyâ€â€the “gigantic black undergarment [Rosie O’Donnell] wore in the movie ‘Exit to Eden,’â€? according to the NY Post. It had been given to Trump by someone who bought it at auction [Editor’s Note: What crazy auction was that???]
Trump told the tabloid: “I sent it to Barbara to hang in her office because I didn’t want it in mine. It was funny, except that it was really gross. It’s disgusting,”
He added: “I feel sorry for [Rosie’s] wife. It can’t be pleasant.”
The gift caused a strange exchange on the morning chat show Monday. At one point, O’Donnell told her co-hosts: “You want to hear what a 61-year-old businessman did today? He sent Barbara . . .”
But Walters interrupted: “But this is for me to say. This was sent for me, it was not sent to you.” O’Donnell: “Go ahead, you say it.” Walters: “No, I don’t want to.” “You don’t want to?” O’Donnell asked.
“I really do not want to stir up the whole Donald Trump thing again,” she said, ending the conversation.
One question: Could the gift have anything to do with getting a little publicity in time for this week’s Apprentice finale? I mean, I’m not implying Trump is a publicityâ€â€well, never mind.
