For StopRosie.com, the online petition to boycott The View, the answer is clear. The site’s mission, in a nutshell: “To influence current and prospective viewers of The View to not watch the program until Rosie O’Donnell is replaced.” (So is this what that guy behind Olbermann Watch has been up to?)
As evidence of the South Nyack resident’s “anti-American rhetoric” the site points to three YouTube clips, labeled “Rosie on 9/11 and Iran,” “Rosie on President Bush’s Impeachement,” and “Rosie on Christianity.” It probably comes as no great surprise that, in the day since it launched, the petition has already gotten more than 9,800 signatures.
While I obviously can’t support such a campaign—what the heck would we fill all the dead airtime with here?!—I do encourage you to head over to the LoHud Forum discussion and “Should ABC & The View drop Rosie?” poll. I must say I’m a little disappointed that so few people have come to Ro’s defense thus far, but—well, when one of the answers has the phrase “deport the byatch,” who wouldn’t vote for it?
UPDATE: Thanks to a comment from Seth, we now know that there’s already some opposition to Rosie’s ouster. www.KeepRosie.com

I would like to see Rosie proved wrong, without the name calling and other such non scientific declarations.
In reviewing her claims of 9-11, I see there are a number of scientists supporting her and claim debunking the famous Popular Science “debunking” of the conspiracy theories.
Let’s just agree to reopen the case and move on. The truth shall set us free. Maybe we will find out that Bin Laden laid bombs that brought down WTC7. To defend ourselves in the future requires understanding the enemy and their capabilities.
Lets not be afraid of scientific research. I do fear that the yelling and name calling threatens democracy. If someone challenges your view of something, making fun of their physical appearance does nothing to further your point.
