Robert Kennedy Jr. tells students in Virginia: ‘We’re living in a science-fiction nightmare’ … and not the cool kind with zombies and robots

tjndc5-5c01hri1vpv14v39sjfv_layout.jpgKennedy, one of the nation’s most prominent environmentalists (as well as one of the most outspoken critics of the president), didn’t hold back this week. Speaking at Virginia Tech University, the Pace Law professor accused the current administration of “rolling back environmental regulations, dropping lawsuits, and naming lobbyists for oil, timber and utility companies to head federal organizations designed to curb environmental abuse, according to The Roanoke Times.

He also lambasted the press as “negligent and indolent ” for allowing debate to go on over whether global warming is a reality. And Republicans: “Eighty percent of Republicans are just Democrats who don’t know what’s going on,” the paper quoted him as saying.
