Stalking Lower Hudson Valley Celebrities … So You Don’t Have To

Judge Judy explains to Larry King where Putnam County is; King tells Judy’s son to 'Go get ‘em'

February
14

Judge Judy was on Larry King Live last night. The highlight of course was the two of them talking about Putnam and Judge Judy’s son, Adam Levy, who is running for the county’s D.A. seat.

Judy: My son is running for the district attorney’s position in Putnam County where he lives…

Larry: Putnam County is north of the…uh…city?

Judy: North of Westchester, a little north of Westchester.

Larry: How old?

Judy: 38. He’s dynamic. He’s got a sense of justice that he learned I like to think living in a household [with me].

Larry: How many people in the race?

Judy: As far as I’m concerned? One.

Larry: Are you going to campaign for him?

Judy: Absolutely.

Larry: We wish him luck. His first name is?

Judy: Adam…Levy.

Larry: Go get ‘em Adam!

After the break, Judy and Larry on Hillary, Rudy, Britney, Paris, and of course Anna Nicole…oh, and Brooklyn!

Judge Judy and Larry on Brooklyn:

Judy: Larry, you and I are from Brooklyn…
Larry: You bet
Judy: People from Brooklyn grow up with a certain common sense. If it doesn’t ring true, it’s not true.

Judge Judy on Anna Nicole Smith:

I’m sure she was a very nice girl. I don’t know one thing she did. Can you tell me one thing she did? I mean did she write anything I should know about? Did she paint anything I should know about? Did she create anything? Did she act in a wonderful movie? What did she do? She married an old guy. And he died. And then there was a lawsuit. And then she had a reality show.

Judy on Hillary, Barack, and Rudy in ’08:

I think that Hillary Clinton is a brilliant lady. I think she’s a superb politician. I was skeptical when she became a senator from New York. I’m no longer a skeptic. I think she’s done a phenomenal job. I think she’s a terrific lady…

I knew Rudy Giuliani when I was a sitting judge in New York. I think he was a grand mayor. I think he cleaned up the city. I think he was no-nonsense. And that’s pre-9/11…

And I tell you, my husband and I watched Barack Obama announcing his presidency last weekend. And I got chills. I was stirred by him…

Larry and Judy on Britney Spears:

Judy: Why are people interested in people who do nothing?

Larry: Britney can sing.

Judy: Well she can dance. Singing? Nah… The country is at a disservice as a result of the exploitation of people, who have no business being heroes. Britney Spears should not be a hero. She had two children, and if she were being a hero, she would take care of her two children and stop being out until 4:00 in the morning and looking as if she’s wasted .

Judy on Paris:

Paris Hilton is a celebrity because somebody made her a celebrity. I cannot think of a thing that the woman contributed to.
