If you’ve ever wanted to see Joan Rivers in a maid’s outfit, now’s your chance

And really, who hasn’t had that twisted fantasy at some point in their life?
As the blog Jewtastic discovered (gotta love a site called Jewtastic), the 73-year-old former Larchmont resident is auctioning off her cleaning skills this March to help raise money for an AIDS charity called The Terrence Higgins Trust. The Lighthouse Gala Auction event will take place at Christie’s in London, and lot #34, “Spring Cleaning with Joan Rivers and Tracey Emin,” is projected to go for £2,000 – £3,000.
Now, who exactly is this Tracey Emin and why should she have the honor of buffing your coffee table with Rivers? As the auction catalog puts it, she’s an “internationally renowned artist” who, like Rivers, is always up for “some light cleaning and a jolly good gossip.”
What’s perhaps most bizarre about the whole story is the fact that our British friends even know who Joan Rivers is. If any of them happen to be reading this, fear not, you can still bid on:
