Mid-winter golfing with Johnny Drama and Daddy Dillon

During last week’s string of 60-degree days (or Saturday’s 70-degree scorcher), were you sitting at home, sweating through your winter layers, and pondering the shaky future of the skiing industry? Well, friends, there is one happy side-effect to global warming: the chance to play golf in late December with your dad at Winged Foot.

I’m talking about Mamaroneck’s own Kevin Dillon, who, according to the Post, took his holiday break from Entourage to come home and play a few rounds with his pops, Paul Dillon. Both are members at the Foot, and I had the good fortune to meet Paul last summer, while working on a feature for InTown about the future of caddie-dom in Westchester. Nice guy—reminded me of Telly Savallis, if Telly Sevallis had a goatee and was a portrait artist specializing in oil paintings of golfers.

If you can’t make it out on the links with your own kin, fear not. You can play the “Entourage Rooftop Golf Game” with Johnny Drama and the rest of the gang over at the HBO website. Just try to restrain yourself from shouting out a Viking Quest “VICTORY!!!” every time you hit the topless girl by the swimming pool.
