The Gods of Morning Television Giveth and they Taketh Away…

Months after Irvington’s Meredith Vieira started at Today, CBS announced yesterday that Chappaqua’s Rene Syler will be leaving The Early Show (her last broadcast will be December 22nd). The news has shocked us here at Suburbarazzi, partly because we thought she was the best reason to tune in to the third-place morning show, but also because we were looking forward to the traffic jam of limos at 5 in the morning down the Saw Mill when Kate Snow (also of Westchester) takes over for Diane Sawyer sometime in the near-future (as has been rumored).
Syler, who has anchored the show since October, 2002, told Journal-isms that she was informed the show would be “moving in another direction. “It’s time for me to move on, she tolld the site.
Syler’s new book, ‘Good Enough Mother’ will be released next year. Beyond that, she said, she has no plans. “Who knows? I don’ know what my next act is going to be.
Always the class act, Syler added, “I had a wonderful experience and I’m leaving with a smile on my face.

Do you have a contact mailing address for Rene Syler.
(Not her personal address) I want to write her but I do not know where to mail the letter.
Thanks!
