What’s the best way to rehabilitate your career after getting thrown in White Plains jail? Apparently for DMX, the Bedford rapper formerly known as Earl Simmons, it’s desiging a line of upscale clothing for dogs. Seriously.
Now, to be fair, DMX’s Signature collection will also include a range of designer apparel, footwear, head wear, and outer wear … for humans. And besides, we hear that plenty of respectable celebs have created businesses based on outfitting pooches. There’s Paris Hilton, and — well, uh. Nevermind. The point is that Northern Westchester’s answer to Compton is a dog lover (he owns a few disgruntled pitbulls, we’ve been told), and that should be celebrated and slobbered over with faint praise.
